Countering Radicalism in Social Media by Campaigning for Religious Moderation

This paper will discuss online media sites implementing religious moderation campaigns in Indonesia. The case study this is the Harakatuna.com. research method qualitative, collecting data through virtual ethnography or observations of Harakatuna.com page and Harakatuna Media's Instagram, Twitter, Facebook social accounts. found that it not appropriate if campaign has only been carried out conventional methods such as seminars, recitations, workshops. Therefore, present a agent for by taking role media. Consequently, carries counter-narrative radicalism introducing peaceful Indonesia with digital webinars, scientific publications, opinion writing. Furthermore, also counter-ideological against Khilafahism ideology Hizbut Tahrir (HTI) echoes. counter-ideology Pancasila foundation nation state values teachings, including Islam. roles are actualization concept Cyber Islamic Environment, new world environment can be used benefit Muslims, one which delivery messages moderation.
